Working together with my Equine Partners, we can help you in pinpointing your unfinished business.  YES! You read that correctly - I PARTNER with HORSES.

Hi, I'm Melissa Bieber, in many circles I am known as a horse whisperer.  I don't know about that, but I am a good listener and am aware of the subtleties of horse communication - most of which is non-verbal.  My horses are known as people whisperers to my clients.  My horses and I partner together to help you pinpoint your unfinished business and move on to your best self.  We specialize in communication and healing of human and horse related physical and emotional challenges, so you can enjoy your best self.

I have a lifetime of experience with horses and other animals.  I have specialized in natural horsemanship training, behavior management and healing for over fifteen years.

I began my career with horses as a young child while growing up on a horse and cattle ranch in South Dakota.  When not doing cattle work on horseback, I spent her time riding across the countryside and showing horses most of the summer weekends in 4H, open shows and in Paint and Quarter Horse Shows.

I graduated from Northern State University in 1990 with a B.S. degree in Psychology and Sociology and a minor in Criminal Justice.  While attending college I spent several years Interning at a Shelter and Resource Center for Battered Women and Children.

Then I took a huge leap and applied to law school.  I had been drawn to Minnesoata since I was a small child.  In 1991 I packed my bags and moved to St. Paul, Minnesota.  I graduated from Hamline University School of Law in 1994. While in law school, I Interned at the Ramsey County Public Defenders Office representing low income and troubled Youth, and also assisted student residents at Hamline University.  I Interned for several years at a small law firm in Wisconsin.  In 1995 I took another leap and opened my own law practice in small town, Becker, Minnesota.  My practice includes Equine Law, Business Start-ups, Contract Law, Estate and Life Planning as well as other specialties.

I established my own 40 acre horse ranch by Becker, MN, in 1996. I continued to show on the local and breed show circuits in all disciplines.  I raise, train, and provide all the care for many horses, specializing in ponies, paints, and quarter horses.  In 2008, raising Mastador puppies was added to the ranch activities.  In 2015 was a big move retiring from Law and moving to a larger facility by Hinckley, MN.

In 2004, I created an internship program for youth to learn leadership, natural horsemanship and training skills.  I am also a riding lesson instructor and I have many years of experience working directly with people at all skill and experience levels their and horses, including scared people and problem horses.  In my free time, I enjoys reading, attending classes and seminars, hanging out with the herd, trail riding, barrel racing, and anything else to do with horses.

My focus has been working directly on the subject of animal behavior, training and performance from a different and unique vantage point (the horses and the owners).

I have the 'gift' for connecting directly with the animal and they respond to me almost immediately.  In addition to training, I knew that animals had their own opinion and knowledge of what they needed and were happy to share it.  I also came to realize that they wanted to enjoy their relationship with their owner as much as the owner did.  Sometimes that meant something needed to be changed, healed or possibly the release of an old trauma that the horse had experienced so it could move forward.

My unique approach, called 'Horse Harmonization', has proved to be very successful and i'm glad to have been able to serve so many happy owners and horses over the years.

My healing and training techniques are unique, non-invasive, comforting and effective and I offer my services over the phone, on my ranch, or will travel to your site.

I use various holistic and natural techniques to maximize results for each individual.  My approach is not one size fits all.
